Terms of Service
1. What These Terms Cover
These terms apply to ShieldBot: the browser extension (listed on the Chrome Web Store as ShieldAI Transaction Firewall), the Telegram bot, this website, the API and the MCP server. By using any of them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
2. The Service Is Provided As Is
ShieldBot is provided as is and as available, without any warranty. We do not promise that it will catch every scam, that its results are accurate or complete, or that it will always be online. We may change, limit or stop any part of the service at any time.
3. A Verdict Is a Risk Signal, Not a Guarantee
A verdict (SAFE, CAUTION, HIGH RISK or BLOCK RECOMMENDED) and its score are an automated assessment based on the checks that could run at that moment. They are not a guarantee that a token, contract, site or transaction is safe, and they are not financial, investment, legal or tax advice. A SAFE verdict can be wrong, and a token can change after it was checked.
4. Unknown Means a Check Could Not Be Completed
When a data source fails or a check cannot run, ShieldBot shows Unknown instead of a verdict. Unknown does not mean safe and does not mean dangerous. It means the item was not fully checked, so treat it as unchecked.
5. You Sign Your Own Transactions
ShieldBot never holds your funds and never signs anything for you. Every transaction and signature is signed and sent by you in your own wallet. When the extension shows a warning, you choose whether to cancel or continue. The extension refuses a request on its own, without asking you, when the request times out after 60 seconds, when it cannot identify your wallet's chain or that chain differs from the chain the transaction names, or when that chain changes during the check; you can then retry.
If you send transactions through the optional ShieldBot RPC proxy, it refuses to forward a transaction it rates HIGH risk or cannot decode or analyse. It forwards every other transaction, including ones whose checks were incomplete, and it forwards contract deployments without analysing them.
6. No Liability for Losses
To the fullest extent the law allows, ShieldBot and the people who build it are not liable for any loss or damage from using or relying on the service, including lost funds or tokens, a verdict that turns out to be wrong, a check that did not run, a transaction you signed or cancelled, or a transaction ShieldBot refused or did not forward.
7. We Never Ask for Your Private Keys
The extension, the Telegram bot and this website never ask for your private key, seed phrase or wallet password. Anyone who asks for them in ShieldBot's name is not us. Do not share them.
8. Privacy
What the service collects and how it is used is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Report a Problem
